I've really enjoyed this game. Being able to watch adds for coins makes it much more approachable and doable. I'm only giving 4 stars because I've lost the ability to watch adds.
It's ok game, obviously ads but what free games dont. Only problem I've seen is that there are levels where you have to spend the in game currency to pass e.g. stage 468 is impossible in f2p without coins . I can see this be a problem later on where you run out of coins.
Fun game but I've shared the same issue as other people, some levels are impossible to get 3 stars unless you use powerups, which aren't cheap to buy.I don't mind powerups in games to help with a tricky level, but some levels are designed where you have no choice. It's not even about strategy either, some levels are designed in such a way that you have to target a specific cell first otherwise you will lose, but targeting that cell is time consuming and you'll end with 1 star

This game is pretty obviously a copy of tentacle wars, or at least I played that one first. This version is pretty good but lower quality visuals and lower difficulty make tentacle wars a better game. However some people are saying this game is pay to win and it definitely isn't. I played through all 300 hundred levels with no purchases.
this game is great until eventually you hit the paywall. where you hit the paywall really is determined on how well you can play the game, but I will agree that eventually everyone does come across that one level that you can't win without using the power ups and having to buy in game currency or watch hours of ads. No powerup play testing is needed for every level because it's really unfair when some players only get to play 100 out of the thousand or so levels on an otherwise great game.
Too many ads. I never got to play. I got ads before the first level, played and got another add. I know developers need to make money but I couldn't even play. Give a a game that catches my attentions, let's me play for a few minutes to figure it and if I like, I'll spend the money to remove ads. I'm sick of being attacked with ads before I can even play
Money money money The game cannot be played without paying up. I reached to level 24 and it cannot be played without the helping tools. I only have 30 coins from the first gift, but I will have to pass level 25 with making a purchase. I respect that you guys need some revenue. I am an app developer myself, but please monetize your game in a way that people would be able to play a little without paying. I live in afghanistan and we still lack the systems to make in-app purchases.
This game is not fair. I was surrounded by enemies with just barely enough of cells.I infect one cell, they attack my biggest cell. Then my smaller cell. THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE.
Fun til you get to the higher levels where the only way to win is to spend real money. Too many ads too.
Some stages are extremely hard it feels like you need power ups to beat it and other stages are extremely easy. When I get to the harder ones I get extremely frustrated because I try every situation and nothing works and then by sheer luck I'll get through because computer did something diffrent.
Impossible to beat stage 38 without powerups, which you watch ads to get. Edit: I soon realised that stage 38 wasn't impossible but still, the fact that you need to watch ads to get powerups is still bad and even the 30 daily coins aren't enough, it's not like I'm gonna play this game 10 days in a row is it?
Fun game, sometimes challenging to get 3 stars. I'm up to level 103 and haven't paid a thing, so ignore the guy who says you can't get past 78 without paying! It has ads obviously but you can skip those straight away.
"Describe your experience" this box says. One word: ADS. This is a throwback to a great game, revived and revisualised as an ad market. They probably did a good job remaking the game, as simple as it was, but the ads are too much. The moment you launch it they cover the screen, even during the tutorial! Honestly, it ruins the experience and is insulting to the original. Don't give this company the ad revenue they will simply use to ruin more games.
Great concept but you have TO PAY TO WIN there are levels you cant win without buying the upgrades I redid my evaluation your right about the difficulty great game and thanks for the reply
The gameplay is way too slow and boring. I also dislike parts of the games graphics like the stars. They feel cheap and rushed and give the game a money grabbing feel.I highly dislike the ad banner too. If the game was faster paced or had a fast forward button that sped things up more than whats in the game now itd be better.
I haven't played many similar games so I'm not gonna do any comparisons but the amount of ads you have to watch is ridiculous. You'd literally have to watch ads for 5-6 minutes to get 1 powerup. Not only that, sometimes ads appear on the screen AS YOU'RE PLAYING so they block half or almost all of the screen. Imagine when it happens when you've already used a powerup you have no other choice but closing the game. Having said all that, I'm not uninstalling it, not yet
Interesting variation on Tentacle Wars. It's almost a clone of it, but once you start getting the specialized cells, you see how it's not QUITE a clone. Still docking it a star for being a clone in terms of the basic game mechanics and general idea, though. Also expected it to be more for kids, based on the graphics, but it's every bit as challenging as the other.
I like this game a lot, the art is great. The only problem i have is that it's to slow, it takes so long to take over an enemy cell.
Only at level 9, but a little bored already. Pretty fun though, and minimal ads

Eh... After over 350 levels I realized that the levels just begin repeating... Some of the levels are basically impossible to best with out spending coins which are difficult to get without purchasing... I think over all it's a fun game initially then becomes a massive waste of time and potentially... Money.
Game was great until stage 1113 where you are forced to buy powerups. I tried this stage well over 100 times and every method possible. I understand you want to make money, but creating levels that forces you to need them is dirty and caused me to delete this app.
Tries to clone good old Tentacle Wars but fails miserably. Ads, broken controls that rarely work, level difficulty curve is all over the place (though most of the levels are so easy you get bored playing). I see no reason to install this over the original.
Its was fun until I realized that some of the enemy cells so faster than mine. I'll have the clear advantage and they some how take over. This is not fair and sucks all the fun out of the game. What is the point of a strategy game if the AI has an unfair advantage even over the best strategy.
Decent game, but an ad popped up covering the entire top half of the screen while the game was still playing, so I couldn't target or protect any of my cells up there, making the level unbeatable.
Addicting but absolutely unfair. The fun of the game is quickly lost in the upper levels. Each enemy has obvious strategies and only stick to those so you learn them and they get boring. Then to make it "more difficult" it just becomes more unfair. The AI logic is garbage and the unfairness comes when you start the level with a third or a quarter of the resources as the others and then you literally see the enemies prioritizing attacking you rather than each other. Good game, bad play
It's just Tentacle Wars, but with worse graphics, powerups (though, that could have been added in. Haven't played in years) and this annoying "help" system in the tutorial levels. I'm pretty sure the levels I have played so far are exact clones of the same levels, in Tentacle Wars, too. I hope there are original levels, or I might as well just play Tentacle Wars, to save myself from the eyesore that is these graphics...
This game would have been a good puzzle game, however it has a quantity over quality problem. There is a lot of levels but they are repetitive and the difficulty is very random. Some levels are too easy while others feel like the only way to beat them is to use items. You also don't earn very much coins making it so that eventually you'll have to buy the items with real money. The only good thing I can say about this game is that you don't need an internet connection to play, unless you pay for the microtransactions.
Kinda slow. Not really my thing. I can really feel every second of my life I'm wasting pass me by. Not very thrilling or fulfilling
Nice game with interesting gameplay but it's just not good enough for a 5 star
The game is extremely addictive. I played it for a week straight without intending to, it's just satisfying. 4☆ because although the ads are frequent, they are only the 5sec ads, BUT so far I've had 3 different ads with no exit and had to close app & restart to continue. These pop up more than rarely. Also, I wrote a 5☆ review and came back to edit, but that review was gone. Weird.
Game overall is fun but after completing any level or mini game level, you are never rewarded coins. In order to buy power ups, you need these coins. Your only 2 options are to buy with cash, which I think its way over priced for the amount you received. Option 2 is to watch ads. Why don't you get rewarded coins per completed level??
An awesome strategy game! There is an ad after every stage, and sometimes after a loss, but it is easy to skip. No need for power-ups till at least stage 546 😁 Well worth a try! The only annoying things are that it is impossible to cut only one of overlapping connections, and that it can be hard to tell what is connected if there are overlapping connections. Also, the AI can combo cut many connections at the same time: xd
Absolutely great game, I'm on level 700 and eager for more, many challenging levels. I wish there were more games like this
seems like a cool game, however, there is no "color blind" setting. Im red/green color blind and it was frustrating at the very least to figure out which cells were mine or enemy. I wanted to play this one, but it became more of a headache than anything.
Love the game, but my coins disappear... I should have about 3000, had almost 600 last night, today I have 350.... never spent any... ever... they just slowly disappear? What's up with that? Great game otherwise... on level 1113..
Its a good game! Adds arent a problem! But if you need items you dont get gold except for 30 coins daily and you need fo wait for 200 if you want something! After lwvel 750 its gets really challenging and sometimes you need items if you wanna get 3 stars on each level!Soooo thats something that they should fix! The gold! Other wise is a good game!
So, first of all, this is an app version of tentacle wars. But TW is good. Second, there are ads just about every level, but they're only 5 seconds long, which is very good for free games. Third, there are some levels where you must pay (probably) real money to get three stars, which is greedy, but everything so far (through level 25) seems winnable without items, which is all I care abput.

I cannot enjoy it. Tentacle Wars last update was years ago, and it's still better than this. Coloration and menus are bulky, and the AI don't differ at all. Back in TW, Red was basic, Blue was smart, and Purple was deadly-- here, they are just colors. While TW did have a tutorial, it didn't last five missions and didn't keep popping up at the start of each stage. I only reached stage 15, but I can't keep going. I didn't even look at the micro-transactions, but they're probably horrible.
